Readiness

The word “readiness” means the state or quality of being ready; preparation; promptness; aptitude; willingness.

Ah “willingness”; and that means the quality or state of being willing; free choice or consent of the will; freedom from reluctance; readiness of the mind to do or forbear.

Now that you are deductively clear on the aforementioned definitions, do you think you are READY and WILLING for a relationship?  Most times you may be ready but you are not willing.  To have a successful relationship it’s imperative to have both within both individuals.

For some of you close in my life it’s become recently apparent that your unwillingness is due to you not being 100% true or dedicated to the cause.  If you have one iota of reluctance, then all will fail.  Success is based on determination which in turn is predicated on the willingness to do so!  If you’re not honest with yourself and where your mind/heart is then how can you be honest with me and deliver any types of promises or emulate willingness to move forward?

Oh, I get it…you have become complacent and comfortable in your little word.  So you willingness is limited by the size of your comfortable little domain.  I hope that one day you grow up and see that you don’t have to settle for the cupcake when there is a entire cake to be had.  In addition I hope you understand that cakes take longer to make, but are much more rewarding if you take the TIME to make them, and bake them properly – that’s pretty ironic considering relationships work the very same!

So yea, stay where you are and pass up this delicious cake. I hope you enjoy your little cupcake now, b/c this cake is well made and won’t be around later.  You will be sorry later when you encounter that your next chef that won’t know to cater to your tastes…

Good luck and I hope you grow up soon…
