@ nti, Well this post isn't mine (originally) but I found it VERY interesting. Though at first read it seems dismal but yet its so profound in the reality that we dwell in. Where the HELL do we start to fix this!?
ReplyDeleteHow do we fix (fill in the blank)? That seems to be the million dollar question. So, many questions, so few answers it seems.
ReplyDeleteAt times, it does as feel as if we are moving through life on autopilot and disconnected from the things, people, etc around them. It is like the world has change so rapidly, and we all have yet to catch up. We are constantly on the go, moving and shaking, but when it is all said and done, what do we really have to show for it? At the end of the day, it feels as if we are just hallow...

@ Dimitri, you are right! It seems so bleak and gloomy at first, but it is not far from the truth at all. It's actually more motivating than anything. I was moved to go down the list and question myself. Is this me??? What am I doing to contribute to this lifelessness?? To me, that is huge! If only everyone took a moment to reevaluate their lives, we would be that much closer to a healing transformation, worldwide! But that's wishful hinking! The reality is you can't convince everyone...

ReplyDelete@ Taj, I concur. The power of one. Perhaps if we start at home (our selves) other will observe and start to adapt parts of the revolution to themselves.
I concur! Something must be done in order for change to occur--unfortunately, change is past due.
