@ Vic, Not sure I follow and/or agree. Remember, all perceived from the eye of the beholder/observer. No matter what Person A thinks they are (self centered or not), Person B can still think Person A is the world to them.
Person A's perspective of themselves may have nothing to do with how Person B perceives them.

The frustration plays in when Person A serves as mentor, teacher, role model to Person B. The behaviors and attitude then stand chance to perpetuate.
