Sarah Palin Is So Gullible

It was a bad weekend for Sarah Palin, as well as the Republican National Committee and the Drudge Report. But Sarah got a double dose by proving she can be fooled twice. First, comedian pranksters called her claiming she was talking to the President of France, and then she, along with the RNC and Drudge, were fooled into thinking the San Francisco Chronicle had a tape of Obama talking about bankrupting the coal industry.

First, the prank call:

And then the mysterious audio tape. What is it with audio tapes popping up these days? Why does anyone even have audio tapes in the age of MP3s and other digital media? Is this some kind of holdover from the days of Nixon? Are Republicans still trying to get back at Democrats for the Watergate scandal, and have audio tape on the brain?

Hint: it'll be an iPod or a memory stick, not an audio tape, with secret recordings. And one more hint: think digital video, not analog audio. A final hint: no one gets that lucky 48 hours before an election.

As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice...

Now will someone please try to prank Obama or Biden? Let's test all the candidates, not just one or two.
