I hate to be a Negative Nancy right after you posted this but #1 on your list is technically wrong. If you've ever watched this great little program on the Discovery Channel called Mythbusters, they proved that you can fold a piece of paper more than 7 times. The only caveat to that is that it needs to be a really large and thin piece of paper and it generally helps to have a steam roller handy. Just some food for thought.
ReplyDeleteAh I will contend and stress "folded in half". Sure you can fold a paper more than 7 times, but not in half. In half is in equal parts. :)
ReplyDeleteTry it…
I see your contention and raise you one...it would seem that it takes a woman to discount your erroneous 'shit'. Guess that makes it a 'mis-shit'.
ReplyDeleteThe mathematical exact limiting equation for the single direction folding (in half) is:
L = (pi x t)/6 x (2n + 4)(2n – 1)
A young woman took the challenge in 2005 and broke it, folding the paper IN HALF, not 8, not 9, 10 or 11 but 12 times! Booya!
I haven't gotten past point one...so let me read on!
AJ and Victoria,
ReplyDeleteI remiss and stand humbly corrected!...lol
A good man, you are, Dimitri...reflects your tolerance of other perspectives and highlights your character! Can't even begin to count the number of times I've been wrong and had to eat crow...lol!
ReplyDeleteWell thank you, and just FYI I don’t like the term "tolerance" when it comes to people...its more being of open mind. :)
ReplyDelete"An open mind is like an open sail and will always be full of wind." -Dimitri Snowden
Point noted...context pulled from Websters and used in the broadest of sense..."indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from...one's own" Imagine if everyone practiced tolerance / open-mindedness!!
