Change...

Change ONLY comes from dissatisfaction. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Let change begin!

  1. How are you defining dissatisfaction? Interested before I share my thoughts...

  2. Literally: the state or attitude of not being satisfied; discontent; displeasure.

  3. Hmm..I hear you and understand your perspective. With that said, I am that person who cannot do status quo. I seek challenge, change and growth. Boredom, feeling as if I have maximized potential within a specific location / position and that the challenge is over can 'technically' all be perceived as dissatisfaction, yet I felt a need to offer a parallel track to your statement. I concur with your statement....yet look through a different lens.

  4. Hmmm, not sure if your rebuttal is for sake or mild conjecture...

Even if in you example you chose to change for the sake of "challenge" it still boils down to dissatisfaction. You seek challenge because you are dissatisfied with your current position and want more.

The point of my entry is that the core for ALL change is some level of dissatisfaction.

  5. A rebuttal is a point made within a debate....I am not 'rebutting' your statement, rather offering parallel fodder.

  6. Point taken. My stance remains, I don't see the parallel since the origin of your example would still point to fact that change is prompted by "some" level of dissatisfaction.

  7. D, I offered my thoughts, parallel to yours, as there are so literal folks in the world who see what is written and take it only for the absolute. As we are both on the same page and challenge thinking / circumstance / position in life, I broaden the lens for those more narrow minded...simply that.
